Tuesday 14th December 2021

Ofwat has rated Severn Trent as one of the top performers in its first service delivery report for the new AMP.

The regulator for the water industry has recently published its annual Service Delivery Report, which assesses the level of service water companies deliver to customers and the environment.  It found that Severn Trent was one of the top performers for preventing pollution incidents and achieved the highest D-MeX score - the measure of experience for developer services.

The report also revealed that in 2020/21, Severn Trent and Hafren Dyfrdwy both achieved their leakage targets, meeting a three-year average reduction.

Shane Anderson, Director of Strategy and Regulation at Severn Trent, said: “We’re delighted to be recognised by Ofwat as one of the top performers in our sector, reflecting our excellent performance in a range of areas, including environmental responsibility and customer outcomes.

“This recognition is a reflection of the hard work and dedication that’s gone into delivering for all of our customers and we’re looking forward to building on this in the future.”
