Friday 25th August
Andrew (Andy) Lee has been announced as the new Head of Severn Trent Services, joining from Severn Trent’s Bioresources team.
With a legal and operational background, Andy began his Severn Trent journey in 2015 as a Legal Counsel, where he supported Severn Trent Services before joining Bioresources in 2019. Andy successfully managed the commercial and trading team to stimulate sludge trading and liquid commercial waste imports before driving the large and complex Bioresources operational division.
James Jesic, Director of Capital and Commercial Services, said: “Andy came through as the leading candidate for this role with his strong commercial background and wealth of experience. He’ll be an invaluable asset as we look to continue the successful growth of the Severn Trent Services business across many important sectors.”
Andy Lee, Head of Severn Trent Services, said: “Severn Trent Services is a fantastic collection of diverse businesses offering commercial water and wastewater services to organisations nationwide.
“It’s an organisation with a massive appetite for growth and a solid strategy to get us there. My job will be to take it to the next level, which excites me the most.
“There are opportunities to deliver value to new and existing customers with our water and wastewater expertise. Having the freedom to innovate for customers is very appealing, and when each business comes together and harnesses its collective strengths, we’re a real force!”
