Hi Kate, thanks for chatting with us – really looking forward to hearing about your career story. First tell us, a little bit about yourself and about your career journey with us at Severn Trent?

Hello there! Ok so I have worked in automotive for nearly 10 years in customer facing roles with Listers and JLR, before joining STW. I started here in November 2021 as a Fleet Administration. 


What made you apply to work for Severn Trent at the beginning?

I enjoy working for a large company and this was a natural progression for me, and with my skill set and knowledge I feel comfortable that I could add value to the team


It’s great that you’ve progressed with us in the Fleet Team, tell us a bit more about the Senior Transport Operations Administration role you’re doing now.

I have progressed fairly quickly within the team, there has been plenty of opportunity to learn new things and take on different tasks, I have gone from Workshop support to Commercial Plan, playing a large role in the replacement of old vehicles and the introduction of electric vehicles. This is still at the early stages, but I am very excited to see it through.


What motivates you in your role?

I like solving issues and getting to the right outcome, this give me a sense of achievement and motivates me.
