Shane Anderson

Shane was appointed Director of Strategy and Regulation in April 2020 having held the position of Head of Economic Regulation within Severn Trent since July 2015.

Shane is an experienced regulatory economist, having spent the majority of his career dealing with regulatory issues for both regulated companies and regulators across the UK and Australia.

He led on the development of PR19 Business Plan, which led to Severn Trent being one of only three companies to receive Fast Track status, and the Green Recovery programme, which saw Severn Trent awarded three quarters of the entire programme across the industry. More recently, Shane led the PR24 programme, which saw Severn Trent’s plan classified as Outstanding and awarded £15bn of Totex, a record for the Company.
