Jude Burditt

Jude joined Severn Trent in November 2021, bringing with her a wealth of experience in operations, IT leadership and service optimisation from 25 years working in Utilities sectors.

In 2013, Jude joined the original challenger energy retailer, First Utility – which was acquired by Shell to form Shell Energy Retail Ltd – and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2018.  As Chief Operating Officer, Jude was responsible for leading end-to-end operations for all the organisation’s Energy and Telecommunications customers, introducing a new operating model to improve customer experience.  In her time at Shell Energy, Jude oversaw several successful customer migrations across platforms and between organisations.

Prior to First Utility and Shell Energy Retail, Jude worked as Director, IT Design and Delivery for Orange, building on an early career in finance operations.  She also worked on the IT strategy for EE in the run up to the Orange merger with T Mobile to form the UK’s leading mobile telecommunications network.
