Severn Trent secures fair tax mark for the third year running

Severn Trent has secured the Fair Tax Mark accreditation for the third year running, further demonstrating its commitment to doing the right thing.

The Fair Tax Mark is independent recognition of Severn Trent’s commitment to paying the right amount of tax at the right time and applying the ‘gold standard’ of tax transparency.

Retaining it affirms the Company’s reputation for managing its tax affairs in a responsible manner, recognising the interests of all its stakeholders.

James Bowling, Chief Financial Officer at Severn Trent, said: “We’re delighted to retain our Fair Tax Mark for the third year running. This much sought-after recognition demonstrates we’re a company that’s committed to managing our tax affairs responsibly, and paying the right amount of corporation tax, in the right place at the right time.”
