Career and Responsibilities:

Didar joined Severn Trent in October 2022 to take on the role of Group General Counsel.  

As part of his role, Didar sits on the Disclosure Committee and is a standing attendee at a number of Committees for Severn Trent including the Audit and Risk Committee, Treasury Committee and the Corporate Sustainability Committee.

Before joining Severn Trent, Didar was a Partner at the global law firm, Pinsent Masons, leading their Birmingham Projects / Energy and Local Government Practices.

Didar was recognised in the 2023 Legal 500 UK Rankings as a ‘Leading Individual’ in both sectors and has worked on a wide range of high value energy, waste and infrastructure projects, advising government departments, investors and private contractors across England and Wales.  In particular, Didar focused on the delivery of the Net Zero Agenda through innovative smart cities, community energy and E-mobility schemes.
