Capital Markets Day: PR19
Catch up on videos, slides and presentation transcripts from Capital Markets Day 2018.
On Friday 14 September 2018 Severn Trent hosted a PR19 Capital Markets Day for our investors to bring to life the recently submitted Business Plans submitted to Ofwat for AMP7. In the three days preceding this event our 900 people managers at Severn Trent had also experienced the same PR19 immersion event so they too could understand all about the plan we submitted and begin to prepare for what the what the world will look like in 2020-2025.
For our investors this day was the 3rd element of our PR19 Education Programme having previously released an investor summary and hosted a webcast to talk through some of the more detailed financials. This event was less about the ‘what’ and more about the ‘how’ we will deliver our plan in AMP7, what strides we are already making and why investors should have confidence going into AMP7.
To make it easy to digest for people we broke our plan down into four key areas; Customer, Waste, Water and Society but as you will see – this is a plan that is integrated and should be seen as a whole rather than individual parts. It was an interactive day with lots of rich content and interactive presentations. We have captured it all in a series of videos which we hope go some way to recreating the magic of the day.
Customer
The Customer zone goes into detail about how we have considered the customer and what they want in many of new offerings in AMP7. Bill Affordability, Priority Services, Customer and Developer experience and Low Pressure all feature in this section.
Water
In Water we focus on how will meet our 15% leakage reduction commitment, how we will cope with future Supply, Demand and Resilience challenges and what we are doing to improve our Supply Interruptions performance with the use of technology and smart data.
Waste
The Waste zone outlines how we transfer our industry leading ODI performance from AMP 6 into AMP 7. We discuss technologies and process that are vital in this area before then going on to talk about how we will create value in the Bioresource market in the coming years.
Society
Our Society zone focussed on three of the many things we are doing to become a more socially purposeful organisation. We are much more than delivering great waste and water performance, we are investing for the benefit of our entire region for now and for the future generations.
