Marketing and Communications Apprentice Level 4

Apprenticeship Programme: Marketing Executive
Apprenticeship Level: 4 Higher
Equivalent to: Foundation Degree
Programme Duration: 18 months
What you'll be doing
As a key member of the Severn Trent Services team, you will support the development of a marketing strategy to help deliver our 5 year plan. You will also create and design internal and external communications to increase brand awareness, knowledge and internal engagement. To do this, you'll work with stakeholders across Severn Trent Services, helping you to understand priorities, challenges and to create a Marketing Response.
As you progress through your apprenticeship, you will develop and deliver overall campaign plans, setting targets, monitoring progress and ultimately being responsible for the results. As you progress, you'll develop the ability to establish key metrics and measures for campaigns which align to the Severn Trent Services strategy and ensure delivery of marketing targets.
The starting salary for this programme is £16,807.

How we'll support you
Training and Development
Your apprenticeship will allow you to develop the skills and experience that you’ll require to become a Marketing & Communications Lead. During this time, you’ll combine on-the-job learning with formal, nationally recognised development training to gain your level 4 higher apprenticeship. Following completion of your apprenticeship, you will be able to register as an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
To help you drive and own your career progression, we’ll provide you with Personal Development Plan. This will be set and agreed with your line manager and reviewed regularly in performance reviews.
This apprenticeship follows the apprenticeship standards set out by the Institute of Apprenticeships.

You’ll be able to grasp and learn things quickly, learning from your own and others experience, to improve engagement across the business.You will take ownership of tasks and hold yourself accountable for delivering future marketing campaigns, taking pride in the design and creation of internal and external comms.
Developing knowledge and expertise during your apprenticeship, you’ll be someone who enjoys taking an analytical approach to analysing information from various sources, using this knowledge to inform robust solutions and decisions, demonstrating courage to see tasks through in their entirety. You’ll be someone who is genuinely interested in people, seeking to understand their needs, expectations and priorities.
