Phase 1: Shaping the consultation
We asked our stakeholders what issues were important to them, and how they would like to be involved in developing our business plan.
The 63 responses we received have helped to shape our approach in Phase 2.
Phase 2: Shaping the plan
Our Making the right choices consultation introduced some of the challenges we need to tackle and issues we need to face. We aimed to promote a discussion about what our priorities should be.
April to September 2012
We discussed the issues in Making the right choices in a programme of workshops.
October to March 2013
We considered what our stakeholders and customers have told us and summarised it in Your views. We used this as a basis for refreshing our long term strategy and developing a package of outline proposals.
Phase 3: Balancing the plan
We published our outline proposals for consultation in Your water. Your choices.
May to September 2013
We held discussions with our stakeholders to test the acceptability of our proposals and balance competing priorities.
October to December 2013
We revised our proposals to take into account what our customers and stakeholders have told us.
We submitted our final business plan to Ofwat for approval.
